Vehicle Vital Info: In order to even begin the process of evaluating any vehicle, it is necessary to have the vehicles vital information. This includes the Year, Make, Model, Trim, Mileage, Engine, Transmission, Trim Level or Package, Interior and Exterior Colors, and most importantly . . . the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). This is the first step in the evaluation process because each vehicles value is mostly derived from these elements of it's character. Also, often times we use VIN history reports, and VIN decoding technology to pinpoint the correct value of the automobile.

20+ Images: Please use these images to guide you in shooting a minimum of 20 quality, crisp, clear images. (640 x 480 resolution, multiple angles, include shots of blemishes, and please be very thorough . . .). The more images, the better! The images show the effort of trying to properly portray the vehicle on line and to a potential buyer. This is key in selling sight unseen, or via the internet where trust can easily become a factor. If you have any issues with the photography and what shots would be best on your vehicle, please contact your hautexotics Concierge.

Detailed and Forthright Description: The description of a vehicle is simply what sells. Value can swing up or down based upon the story told about a car. The description should include things like the personal experience that the owner has had while driving it, the service history, the explanation to back or support the images, and of course any flaws. It is a common misconception that fessing up to flaws can negatively effect a vehicles value, but not detailing them in a description can blow the entire sale! Explaining the defects of a vehicle builds buyer confidence and trust in the seller.

Standard and Value Added Features: By itemizing a list of both important standard equipment, and also mentioning the value added features of a vehicle boosts it value and makes it more unique. Also adding any after production add ons or accessories to this list does the same. Be sure to take your time and be thorough so you do not overlook or forget to include and important feature.
